What is Stride for Education?

With a focus on kids striding for kids, Stride For Education is open to primary school class groups, as well as high school students.

Students will run, walk or wheel (for those in wheelchairs) as many kilometres as they can over 12 fun-filled days from 14-25 November. Every step taken will raise awareness about our work supporting First Nations students in our four partner communities.

REGISTRATION COST: Free

TEAM SIZE: Register your pre-existing classes or make up your own teams, with a minimum of 25* and a maximum of 33 students/teachers per group.

*exceptions made for schools with less than 25 students enrolled.

Learn more about our communities

Teachers and students who register will have special access to a video for each school day of the challenge. Students can take a virtual visit to our four partner communities, where Community Spirit Foundation staff will share what makes their community special, including the languages they speak, the history of their communities and the places they spend their time.

Choose from four daily distance challenges, which virtually cover our four partner communities, to set yourself a goal and keep on track during the challenge.
